2016 PROFESSIONAL MEDIATION TRAINING

The 2016 Professional Mediation Training began on 8th August, 2016 and ended on 12th August, 2016. The training was facilitated by:

  • Michael Gyan Owusu, Esq.  – Coordinator of Ghana School of Law – Kumasi Campus, Senior Partner at    O & A Legal Consult, Lecturer, Ghana School of Law.
  • Martin C. Nwosu, Esq. – Program Manager, GHACMA, Regent Law Firm. Accra, Lecturer, Ghana School of Law.
  • Diana Asonaba Dapaah, Esq. – Solicitor/Barrister at Sam Okudzeto & Associates, New York Attorney and Counselor-at-law, Lecturer, GIMPA Faculty of Law.
  • Rev. James Annor-Ohene, Esq. – Fordham School of Law, New York

And was attended by about 50 participants from around the country with different professions such as Lawyers, Administrators, Social workers, Civil servants, Lecturers, Teachers, Traditional Rulers, Pastors, Priest, Sisters and etc.

The aim of this program is to train people to be professionally competent, certified and licensed mediators to support research into the actual causes of the apparent protracted conflicts in Africa and lasting resolutions and management thereof.
